Effective Email Marketing

We have all received certain emails that we delete instantly and at times we also unsubscribe. If this is happening with your email campaigns, you need to learn more about the art of a successful email marketing campaign. We all know that email marketing is an amazing tool for communicating with our audience, here are few tips that can help you improve the effectiveness of your Email Marketing Campaigns.

Easy to Subscribe

It is very important to keep adding and updating your subscriber list on a regular basis. Adding new clients shouldn’t be difficult, announce your newsletter features and benefits and make sure your “call to action” is easily visible. You should have the “Sign up feature” on your website’s homepage, Blog page, Footer, and as many places as possible where you can fit it without harming the overall feel of the website.

One of the most popular ways is to add a “sign-up box” that hovers over the page and follows users as they scroll. It should be very neat with a clearly visible value proposition and at the same time easy to close so that uninterested visitors won’t be annoyed.

Give a Personal Touch

Having a higher open rate doesn’t mean that people will buy from you. Content plays a very critical role once the reader clicks on the email. Always make sure that the message sounds like it is from a real person and not from a faceless marketing machine. Many tools out there help you customize your email blasts and let you add several personal elements to the content. There is a very high chance of getting a response when a person receives an email with a personal greeting and message.

Clear Call to Action

Email marketing offers an opportunity to conduct a meaningful conversation with real people who are interested in your business. It’s not meant for sending out generic information which has no objectives to it. Always have clear objectives followed by call-to-actions that can make your email campaign fruitful. An attractive subject line, targeted content and right hyperlinks (CTA) can take your campaign to the next level.
